Virgin Islands duo, Rock City, pay their respect to the culture they love with this video, "Hip Hop Props." I saw these dudes perform a while back and they are definitely an act to check for. Made up of two brothers (Timothy & Theron), they freak the whole rapping/singing ish pretty well. They have also written for Jennifer Hudson, Akon, Pussycat Dolls, Fantasia, Jamie Foxx, Trey Songz, and many more in their career thus far. Expect more from them on OKP in the future.

In a recent interview the “Day N’ Nite” star confirmed a series titled ‘How To Make It In America’.
Expected to be a comedy, Cudi says “It’s directed by Julian Farino, who also did Sex And The City, several episodes of that and The Sopranos; and Entourage.”
Unlike some stars who land short stints or guest roles, Cudi says his character is a lead.
“My character’s name is Domingo Dean. I actually named my character after both of my brothers - Dean, who lives in Phoneix, being of them, and Domingo”.
The show will have no reference to music, which Cudi says was “important” to him inorder to do somethiing outside his comfort zone.
“I was telling them, ‘Man, I don’t want to be anything that has to do with music,’ just becuase that’s not really acting.”
A date for the series has not been confirmed.

Opening last week at Paris’ Emanuel Perrotin Gallery was the STAGES exhibit organized by the Lance Armstrong Foundation to raise awareness in the fight against cancer. Taking part in the exhibit are such names as Christopher Wool, Richard Prince, Cai Guo-Qiang, Shepard Fairey, Eric White, Geoff McFetridge, Kaws, José Parla, Raymond Pettibon, etc… Also adding to the exhibit is French photographer, JR, who created the work above.

Its much faster than a bicycle, no stop signs or traffic lights and the are completely weatherproof and you have no chance of ever falling off. Crazy New Zealanders came up with the idea to expand their modes of transportation. The power needed to move these pods is only a fraction of power used on a regular bike going the same speed. They can reach speeds up to 56 mph and are very safe. Cell phone use is allowed of course. Imagine what the future holds.

After leaving his show on Comedy Central Dave Chappelle pretty much disappeared. Until now that is. He recently tried to put on a show in the middle of downtown Portland. Chappelle was expecting an audience of around 200 people but a crowd of 4,000 showed up. Chappelle arrived with a single amp and mic in hand but unfortunately it was no use. There was no way the small portable amp could be heard. Does this mean Chappele is coming back?
