thee instant gratification

Just like your local cable company has brought you video on demand, Microsoft is bringing you Games on Demand. But these games will run slightly higher than a rented movie, actually, players will get to download full retail versions of games, right on their hard drive. While the games are said to cost full retail price, players won’t get a CD, case or book (really Microsoft? The same price!?).

Maybe Microsoft should take a hint from Apple and drop the price of download content (even if only slightly) so there’s more incentive to buy. But until then, here is the latest list of games that will be available for download beginning August 11th.
